Dior Gets A New Creative Director

Hey fam! First and foremost, thank you all for the heartwarming comments and support following the announcement of my surgery a couple of weeks ago. All is well, and I’m truly honored to have a community behind me that cares so deeply. Now, in other news…

QUICK TAKE
Jonathan Anderson Goes To Dior

Jonathan Anderson, noted fashion designer and founder of his namesake label JW Anderson, has left his post as creative director of the Spanish luxury house Loewe to join Christian Dior in the same role.
He follows in the footsteps of Maria Grazia Chiuri — the first woman to ever lead Dior since its founding in 1946 — who became creative director of the brand in 2016. But Anderson’s appointment is history-making in its own right: he’s the first person to head both the men’s and women’s collections at the French fashion house.
TUNNEL FITS
This Week’s Top 5 Tunnel Fits

Chelsea Gray: This is my favorite look of the week. I love the oversized look from top to bottom. It’s put together very well. And you see a pop of brown with Adidas. I love it. The look is amazing.
Angel Reese: Runway in the W is AMAZING. Black on black. Trench coat. Top to bottom, it’s elite. Love the look. The leather boots with the shade of blue — I love it.
Isaiah Hartenstein: Always love a matching set. I love the two-tone. Pointed toe. Welcome to the finals, Isaiah. Looks good. The shades with the set. It’s great.
Sydney LeRoux: Always love denim. Think denim is a great look. Especially with the crop and the Bottega bag. I love this look. It’s cute, classy, and very chic.

Jelly Flats

Let’s face it: we all underestimated the staying power of the jelly flat — but it looks like they’re here to stay. Instead of fading out as a one-season wonder, these uniquely shaped, playfully colored shoes add the perfect splash of interest to an otherwise straightforward outfit.
ELEVATE YOUR GAME
Sporting Off-Duty Looks

Dressing for vacation during the summer months calls for a mix of intentional choices and effortless pairings. Linen pieces in creams, whites, and other neutrals are ideal for mixing and matching — but don’t lose your personal sense of style along the way. Keep outfits funky with prints, unique accessories, and bold sunglasses.
FINAL WHISTLE
Stand Strong, LA
It’s been heavy out here in LA. Tensions are high, and the people of our city are hurting.
What ICE is doing in our communities right now feels like a punch to the gut. Nothing that’s happening right now is progress. Simply, it’s creating more trauma.
But LA is strong. We speak up. We protect each other. And we don’t stop fighting for what’s right, especially when our people are being targeted.
To my city: stay safe, stay smart, and stay loud. We’ve got work to do — but let’s take care of each other in the process.
