Hey y’all!

The news a lot of you have been waiting for is finally here — I’m officially joining the Sacramento Kings this season. I’m really looking forward to the group we’ve got, especially getting the chance to play alongside some old friends. I’m so grateful for everyone who’s supported me throughout my career and excited to kick off year 18 wearing jersey #18. With that said, drop a comment with the best spots I can’t miss in Sacramento and I can’t wait to see y’all to Light the Beam!

Quick Take

A New Era

I’m entering my new era in Sacramento, and Chanel just debuted theirs — the first collection under new Creative Director Matthieu Blazy. Sometimes a fresh take on something classic is exactly what we all need. Blazy, who previously led Bottega Veneta for the past three years, brought that same modern touch to Chanel’s timeless DNA.

This show marked a true shift for the house:

  • A move away from the signature bouclé suits

  • Reimagined ways to texture their classic tweed

  • More unstructured bags and menswear silhouettes

The collection felt reminiscent of early Karl Lagerfeld — signaling a modern era of Chanel that still honors its heritage. It’s still Chanel, but it’s not your grandmother’s Chanel anymore.

Trend Watch

Warm Tones Only

As fall sets in, we’re starting to move away from lighter colors — and brown is once again the shade of the season. You can’t go wrong with a monochrome brown set if you want to look effortlessly put together for your next event. Try mixing different shades of brown for more depth and texture. While black never goes out of style, brown is what your most fashionable friends will be wearing this season.

Elevate Your Game

All Tied Up

Sometimes the easiest way to level up a fit is with something small. Try adding a silk scarf or bandana around your neck for a pop of color with a white tee, or tie one on your belt loop to switch up your jeans or trouser look.

Happy Basketball Season

By the next edition, NBA season will be in full swing. To have played in the league for 18 years is such an honor, and I’m excited to be out there to suit up for opening night. I hope everyone tunes into our first game Wednesday vs. the Phoenix Suns. It’s setting up to be another great year of basketball, with some good fashion along the way.
