To Tunnel Fit, or Not To Tunnel Fit?

Hey fam! I want to start this send (which is coming a little early because I wanted to share some personal news with you all as soon as possible) with a sincere thank you for all of your support and love this season. As you know by now, it has ended for us. Although I wish we were still playing, it has been great to experience being a part of the Nuggets, especially during the playoffs. I’m proud of the work we did.

QUICK TAKE
Tunnel Fits Are Polarizing, And That’s Okay

Lately, more and more players have been swapping out high fashion tunnel fits for cozier, less flashy looks — especially during the playoffs, when the stakes are higher than ever. I still love to show up in an outfit that expresses my full creativity, but I understand that tunnel fits aren’t for everyone. It’s that range of diversity and approaches to the game that make basketball as a sport and a community so much fun. That being said, the players that do love the tunnel-as-a-runway keep showing up and showing out, and I personally love to see it

TUNNEL FITS
This Week’s Top 5 Tunnel Fits

  • Satou Sabally: I really love this look from top to bottom. All the detail and the intricate embroidery of the starfish, and it feeling under the water, under the sea. I really love this look.

  • Kelsey Plum: I love a great suit. This is very well put togther. The pop of burgundy goes well and looks great. This is a great look for Kelsey, and just a great suit overall.

  • Rickea Jackson: I like what’s going on here. Use everything that is supposed to be given and I love it. It looks great and is a great look. Makeup is on point. Everything is to the ‘T’

  • PJ Tucker: I love this look from Tuck. It’s very well put together. Clean, but shows that he’s been in the game a while, doing it for a while. The bag is a lovely detail. Don’t forget the exclusive Js over there, Tuck! Great way to close out the fit.

TREND WATCH
Utility Wear

We often sleep on garments that are made out of heavy, durable materials and have functionality in mind (like field jackets and jumpsuits) because they seem more useful than they do fashionable… at first. But, the way workwear prioritizes clean lines, neutral colors, and structured silhouettes makes for the perfect pieces of an outfit that are not only comfortable and non-restrictive, but also versatile in a minimalist way. If you don’t know what to swap your denim out for, try a carpenter or cargo pant.

ELEVATE YOUR GAME
Wedding Guest Season

Spring is here, and summer is just around the corner. But those aren’t the only seasons we have to stay aware of. Weddings are always popular this time of year, and if you’re planning to attend one as a guest, I’m sure your outfit is top of mind! (Who doesn’t want to look their best in all the pictures?)

My approach is to rock an outfit that is an elevated version of my everyday style: formal, but not too stiff. Obviously white is off the table, but injecting color to honor the sunny vibe of summertime (especially if you’re headed to a beachy or tropical destination) or sticking with a clean, well tailored suit is the way to go.

FINAL WHISTLE

Personal Update

This morning, I’m undergoing surgery on my right hand to fix two breaks that happened during the season. I’m grateful for everyone’s support all year and I can’t wait to be back out there at 100% soon. The comeback is already in motion. #WhyNot

Remember, every day is a chance to elevate your game — in style and in life. Stay hungry, stay humble, and always honor the gift. Can’t wait to hear what you thought about today’s drop.
