QUICK TAKE
My Past Tunnel Fits

Over the years, I’ve had so much fun bringing style to my walks through the tunnel. In fact, getting dressed during the playoffs years ago is when my love for blending fashion and basketball really began. Here’s a retrospective look at some of my favorite fits over the years, which I feel exemplify my vibe and approach to being fly while doing the work.
This fishing shirt was polarizing, but I stand by it. I think it’s fun to bring a sense of humor and uniqueness to press conferences, and that’s just what I did here.
I love the irony of wearing this shirt while being photographed. If you don’t take your outfits too seriously all the time, I find you have more room to play and get creative.
Coogi is iconic, so I was proud to wear this sweater. Colorful, classic, and cozy. If you know, you know.
Suits in unexpected colors, like this baby blue, are dope to me. It makes a professional silhouette a little more approachable.

This Week’s Top 4 Tunnel Fits

Simone Biles — Love this dress. It’s doing so much, but it’s still simple. The open sandal with the open toe and the clutch all flow together. I love this look. Perfect.
Will Campbell — I love the double-breasted pinstripe Masters-style green suit by Louis Vuitton. It looks really good, well fitted, and very comfortable with no tie. It’s casual, but dressed up and appropriate for the Draft. I love this look.
Breanna Stewart — My favorite look of the week. I love the bellbottoms, and pairing it with the oversized coat, undershirt and red bralet tied it all together. Just overall a great look, including matching the carpet with the red. It’s discreet but I really love it.
Cade Cunningham — Salmon always goes well with springtime. Nice lovely salmon color. I don’t care about the rest of this fit, but I LOVE a good salmon look. I’m rolling with Cade’s fit, especially at The Garden.

Fine Tailoring

The Met Gala is fashion’s biggest night year after year, with people around the world looking to the red carpet to see how celebrities interpret the annual event’s theme through their highly stylized looks.
The theme of this year’s Met Gala, which will take place on May 5, is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” It will celebrate a long history of Black dandyism, which is an approach to getting dressed and one’s general demeanor. It’s rooted in tailored looks that demonstrate refinement, creative expression, and an intentional self-image.
Dandyism has historically been especially important for Black men who were working to counteract negative stereotypes through an elegant style of dress.
The dress code for the gala is “Tailored for You,” which I predict will inspire a lot of suiting and menswear-inspired outfits from attendees.
Get ready for some classic but creative looks!
